Warranty Terms & Conditions

At Searchlight Electric Ltd, we take pride in our products and ensure they deliver the intended look and function. We offer a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase on all Searchlight Electric Ltd luminaires, covering any manufacturing defects.

If purchased through a third party, please check their warranty terms.
 

Outdoor Lighting 3-Year Finish Warranty
Outdoor lighting products finish come with a 3-year extended warranty. Restrictions apply for products in aggressive environments (e.g., at least 5 miles away from the coastline., polluted areas). Please check before purchase.
Claims within the first 12 months must be directed to the retailer.

Integrated LED products Warranty
Integrated LED products carry a 5-year extended warranty for failure during use.

Warranty Conditions
Free repair or replacement is provided for manufacturing defects within the warranty period, with proof of purchase. Conditions include:

• Notify us within a reasonable time.
• Provide written or email notification with photos.
• Return goods for inspection if requested.
• Repair or replacement only if deemed a manufacturing defect.
• Re-mounting or fixing costs not covered.
   

Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation by a qualified electrician.
• Non-compliance with use and maintenance instructions.
• Installation damage.
• Alterations or substitutions.
• Wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or inappropriate conditions.
• Inappropriate electrical circuit connections.
• Lamps, drivers, or accessories not supplied by Searchlight Electric Ltd.
• Force Majeure events (e.g., floods, lightning).
• Moving the product from its original installation.

We will endeavour to replace the fitting with the same product or the nearest alternative if necessary. Due to design and technology changes, exact replacements may not always be possible.
